Keke Chism will enter the 2020 season with high expectations. And why not? After redshirting his freshman year at Angelo State University, the 6’4” Wide Receiver has gone on to haul in 157 receptions for 2,221 yards and 16 touchdowns. So to say that Chism will have lofty goals for the season is an understatement.
Chism was a standout at Daingerfield. He played Wide Receiver for much of his varsity years, but also stepped in at Quarterback due to team injuries. He would excel at both. Not just limited to the football field, Chism would also excel on the basketball court and for the track team. After graduating, Chism would pick up where he left off with the Rams on the collegiate level. Chism, now weighing in at a 210 pounds, has the size and speed NFL scouts look for. Chism has been tabbed as the 15th best prospect for the 2021 draft from all Division II schools. The list is compiled by Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds owner, where Talbot is quoted “If you are looking for a big and physical wide out, I found your guy. Chism is a 6’4” wide out with an NFL body”. If that doesn’t get you excited for Keke, then I don’t know what will.
Be sure to keep an eye on Keke Chism this fall as he finishes his career with Angelo State University and pushes for the 2021 NFL Draft.
Good luck to the former Daingerfield Tiger!!!
